Seafood Souq partners with seafood producer Newsan Food

The partnership is expected to expand the reach of both Seafood Souq and Newsan Food in the GCC region

Seafood Souq, whose integrated digital ecosystem allows the seafood industry to trace, trade and finance seafood products, has announced a partnership with Newsan Food. This alliance will allow Seafood Souq to be the sole distributor of Newsan Food products in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Moreover, Newsan Food has pledged to prioritise Seafood Souq in expanding its reach into other international markets, providing growth opportunities for both companies.

Newsan Food offers an infrastructure of 40 fishing vessels, 16 processing plants, and three cold storage facilities. With a footprint across 70 countries, Newsan Food delivers an array of seafood products through their brands: Newsan Food, Tradarsa, Valastro, Nietos de Antonio Baldino, and Pesantar. Their products include, but are not limited to: Argentinian shrimps, hake, Patagonian toothfish, squid (multiple varieties), Chilean king crab and snow crab, Chilean swordfish, and Andean salmon trout.
