Roquette has announced the appointment of Pierre Courduroux as its new CEO, effective 14 Dec 2020.
Courduroux is currently the company’s CFO, a position he took in this October. He has an extensive international experience, and was most recently the CFO of Monsanto, a global agricultural seed and biotechnology company with revenues in excess of US$14 billion and a market capitalisation of more than $50 billion.
During his long career, Courduroux has held leadership positions in France, Belgium, Switzerland and the US. In these roles, he drove improvements in areas such as risk management, capital allocation, and growth projects, while leading the finance organisation towards a model that leveraged shared services and global IT systems.
Commenting on his new role, Courduroux said: “In this position, I am committed to creating even more value for our employees, shareholders, customers and society at large. I am excited about the opportunity for Roquette to fulfill its mission of imagining and offering plant-based ingredients to better cure and feed people.
“Our drive for innovation and our long-term vision as a family company will continue to be key to achieve our objective of improving the well-being of millions of people around the world while taking care of our planet.”
