Proseal to demonstrate product capabilities and celebrate new factory opening

At this year’s Auspack, Proseal Australia will showcase several models from its extensive range of tray sealing machines that demonstrate how the company is able to supply a solution to meet individual customer needs, from start-up businesses and test facilities to multi-line installations.

The equipment on show — the semi-automatic Proseal TTe and GTR and the automatic inline GT1e — will showcase their capability to perform any style of heat seal to a pre-formed tray, and to handle the latest alternatives to plastic. This makes them suitable for a wide variety of food sectors, including fresh fruit, meat and poultry and ready meals, as well as non-food applications such as pharmaceuticals.

The Proseal GTR is a fully portable semi-automatic two station rotary table tray sealer, ideal for smaller scale enterprises and new product development. A significant benefit of the tray sealer over traditional manual machines where the operator has to wait for each tray to be sealed, is that the rotary operation of the GTR means that new trays can be loaded while the previous are being sealed. This delivers higher sealing speeds of up to 30 packs per minute.

The TTe is a small, compact, and robust tray sealer for low-volume production and production trials, capable of sealing up to 10 vacuum/gas packs per minute on a two-impression tool. It is ideal for customers who frequently switch between pack types, and who require a tray sealing machine with a very small footprint.

The GT1e delivers fast packing speeds within a compact footprint, enabling it to be integrated into existing lines or fit into factory areas with space constaints.  It can seal up to 100 atmospheric and 60 vacuum gas packs per minute on a five-impression tool.

All three machines combine Proseal’s hygienic and robust construction for consistently reliable operation with ease of set up and fast changeovers. Their technology delivers seals that meet the standards of the retail sector.

At Auspack Proseal will also be celebrating its move to a new factory that will double its manufacturing capacity. Besides enhancing turnaround for the supply of tooling, the new facility’s test kitchen, machine demonstration and test area, and large spares holding, will ensure the quality of sales and service support that Proseal delivers to customers throughout Australia.
