Michael Grosse moves to Syntegon Technology

Succeeding Dr Stefan Koenig, Dr Michael Grosse will assume office on Mar 1

Syntegon Technology, formerly Bosch Packaging Technology, has named Dr Michael Grosse as its new CEO. He will succeed Dr Stefan Koening, and assume office on Mar 1.

Outlining his new responsibilities, Dr Grosse said that he will “particularly focus on further improving customer satisfaction and profitability”, and aims to offer operators “even more innovative and sustainable packaging solutions” in the future while embracing the opportunities offered by digitalisation.

Most recently, Dr Grosse was a member of the management board of Tetra Pak. He will bring along relevant leadership and management experience in the international mechanical engineering industry, particularly in the areas of process and packaging technology for the food industry. He joined Tetra Pak in 2003 and was, among other things, responsible for expanding the global services business. Furthermore, he has in-depth expertise in new product development and process technologies.

Marc Strobel, chairman of the supervisory board of Syntegon Technology, welcomed Dr Grosse to the team, and said: “We are very pleased to have won Dr Michael Grosse, an extremely experienced and successful manager, for Syntegon Technology. Almost two decades of management experience in the packaging machinery industry, and an international industry network are excellent prerequisites to further advance the successful development of Syntegon Technology.”
