Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients names new COO

Lim Siew Tin takes over from Marc Deschamps, who has retired from the corporate world.

Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients, the ingredients arm of Jebsen & Jessen Group, has appointed Lim Siew Tin as COO. Lim has over two decades of experience within the group, first joining the company in 1997.

She has served in leadership roles throughout the family business, including leading Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients in the Philippines between 2010 and 2012, and Indonesia between 2012 and 2014 as general manger. In 2014, she took on the roles of key principal manager, regional RBU controller and board secretary of Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients. Most recently, she helmed the role as managing director of Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients in Singapore and Malaysia.

Lim took over the reins of Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients on May 1 from Marc Deschamps, regional managing director, who has retired from the corporate world since end April.

Heinrich Jessen, chairman of Jebsen & Jessen Group, said: “We would like to thank Marc for his dedication to Jebsen & Jessen and helping us build a strong foundation for growth. We wish him all the best in his retirement.

“Taking over and elevating Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients to the next level will require an exemplary leader and we are excited to have Siew Tin lead the business unit on a new growth path.”
