Territory to cover US Western region for North American dairy & food equipment manufacturer
Edison, NJ – IMA Dairy & Food USA, whose parent company develops and manufactures complete packaging lines and individual machines for the dairy and food industries – has hired Jerry Watkins to Regional Sales Manager. Mr. Watkins’ territory will cover the US Western region as the company continues its expansion into the dairy and food business segment.
Mr. Watkins will be responsible for growth and sales performance, and will focus on prospecting and capturing market share, developing and implementing sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives, and working closely with product management and marketing to successfully launch strategic campaigns.
Prior to joining IMA Dairy & Food, Mr. Watkins was Western Region Sales Manager for New England Machinery and, before that, Strategic Sales Manager for Kliklok-Woodman. Earlier in his career, Mr. Watkins also served as Aftermarket Sales Manager for OYSTAR North America.
IMA Dairy & Food USA serves the dairy and food industries with a portfolio covering nearly all areas of packaging machine application. The company’s product range includes filling and sealing machines (FS) for preformed cups and bottles, and forming, filling and sealing machines (FFS) for packaging products in the food, dairy and beverage segments, as well as wrapping machines for packaging butter, margarine and similar items.
IMA Dairy & Food USA also specialises in aseptic vertical form, fill and seal machines for stick packs and pouches (with the corresponding dosing systems), as well as FS and FFS machines for packaging single portions of coffee, honey, jam, etc.
Mr. Watkins earned a BS in Marketing from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
