New design features gas springs

Fogg Filler has designed and engineered new lifter pedestals for glass bottling filling. The new lifter design for glass bottle now comes with the option of a gas spring.
All Fogg lifters previously features standard metal springs. With the addition of gas springs, Fogg said that it will provide a “gentler release”, ensuring an extra level of security for glass bottle to move through the filler. Furthermore, Fogg also made polymer valve tips as well for the protection of the bottles.
These new lifters are paired with Fogg’s Acculift technology for a more “accurate and precise” alignment with the valves. As the lifters rise, the Acculift system holds the bottle in place so that it is unable to move or sway risking the valve tip hitting the bottle. This pairing, according to Fogg, will also ensure that the valves will not collide with the neck of the bottles, risking damage to the machinery or bottles.
And like the classic lifters, the new style lifters can be designed for quick change back pockets for ease of changeover in the case of multiple bottles.
